   An exquisite opportunity to discover Mongolian Gobi Desert is the South Gobi Province. South Gobi has renowned landscapes of the country that includes the largest Sand Dune at Khongoryn Els, breathtaking scenery at Yoliin Am, spectacular sights at the famous Flaming cliffs, Bayanzag. Compared to other desert regions, the flora of South Gobi is extremely rich and more than 250 types of plants have been identified here. Also the Gobi has thousands of reptile and mammal in places such as Bayanzag, Tugrugiin Shiree and Nemegt.  Camel breeding is one of the most important part of the destination where you can see thousands of them and try camel back ride on two humped camels and much more.

Day 1. Ulaanbaatar

Upon arrival, meet your guide and transfer to your hotel. Enjoy a welcome dinner at a fine restaurant. Overnight at hotel. Half and full day tours are available on request.

Day 2. South Gobi / Khongoryn Els 260 km

Have an early or take away breakfast. Transfer to Chinggis Khaan airport and take a domestic flight to South Gobi for 1.5 hour. Arrive at the provincial capital Dalanzadgad and have a light snack in the town. Drive further to Khongoryn Els for 260 km. Arrive at ger camp and check in. After lunch visit camel breeding family to be introduced to the ways in which Mongolian nomads live. Explore Mongolia`s largest Sand Dune Khongoryn Els, which is also known as ‘Singing Dune’. Enjoy the beauty of these stark landscapes and, for those who are feeling adventurous, climb to the top for fantastic views. Drive back to the ger camp and stay overnight.

Day 3. South Gobi / Bayanzag Flaming Cliffs 150 km

Have an early or take away breakfast. Transfer to Chinggis Khaan airport and take a domestic flight to South Gobi for 1.5 hour. Arrive at the provincial capital Dalanzadgad and have a light snack in the town. Drive further to Khongoryn Els for 260 km. Arrive at ger camp and check in. Day 4. South Gobi / Khavtsgait Petroglyph / Tugrugiin Shiree 45 km

Wake up early to see the rising sun over the vast Gobi landscape. Have a small hike to explore the ancient artwork of petroglyphs on the top of Khavtsgait Mountain. Drive further to TugrugiinShiree where the famous ‘Fighting Dinosaurs’ fossil was discovered. Stay overnight in same ger camp.

Day 5. South Gobi / Yoliin Am 90 km

Depart to the Three Beauties Mountain range of the Gobi National Park. Spend the day on an excursion to Yol Valley, hiking and enjoy the stunning photographic opportunities. Prepare for the evening`s sunset which will leave you with the best image of South Gobi. In addition, everyone is welcome to gaze at the millions of stars at night. Stay overnight at ger camp.

Day 6. Ulaanbaatar

Have an early or take away breakfast. Drive back to Dalanzadgad and fly back to Ulaanbaatar City. After arrival, visitGandan monastery, the largest Buddhist Monastery in Mongolia that houseswell over 500 monks. The full name of Gandan isGandantegchilen, translates as ‘The great place of complete joy’. Visit National History Museum and Sukhbaatar Square which would cover the spot where Mongolia’s independence was proclaimed in 1921. Have lunch in a Mongolian buffet restaurant where you can create your own stir fry bowls and barbeques. Check in to the hotel and have a free afternoon. Enjoy a colorful Mongolian Folklore concert in the evening and have a farewell dinner. Stay overnight in the hotel.

Day 7. Departure

After breakfast check out of hotel and transfer to a Railway or airport for your international departure.
