After breakfast and hotel check-out, our 4×4 jeep excursion into the heart of the Mongolian countryside begins. Our first destination is Khustai National Park, a sanctuary of natural beauty and biodiversity. Here, you’ll have the rare opportunity to witness the endangered Takhi (Przewalski’s horse) roaming freely in its native habitat. The park’s rolling hills, vast steppe landscapes, and rich wildlife make for an unforgettable introduction to Mongolia’s wilderness. You’ll also learn about the region’s conservation efforts and the park’s role in preserving these iconic wild horses. It’s a tranquil yet immersive blend of nature, history, and cultural insight. We’ll end the day with a unique overnight experience at a traditional ger camp, offering an authentic taste of nomadic life under the stars.

After breakfast, check out of your ger camp and travel back to Ulaanbaatar. Begin your cultural immersion at the National History Museum, where you will learn about Mongolia’s history from prehistory, through the Soviet period, to its current democratic era. Take a peaceful walk around Sukhbaatar Square and the Parliament House, then enjoy lunch at a traditional Mongolian restaurant. In the afternoon, drive to Terelj National Park, renowned or its stunning natural scenery, including dramatic rock formations, larch forests, rolling grasslands, and swiftly flowing streams. Visit Turtle Rock and Aryabala Temple, offering breathtaking views over the park. Meet a nomadic family to learn about their lifestyle and hospitality, and enjoy a horseback ride with the herdsmen. Overnight at a ger camp within the park.

Have breakfast and check out ger camp. Enjoy a 40-minute dog sledding on frozen Tuul river and drive east of Ulaanbaatar to visit the iconic Chinggis KhaanStatue Complex, the world’s tallest equestrian statue. Explore the exhibition halls and enjoy panoramic views from the monument’s viewing platform. Have lunch at a nearby camp before returning to Ulaanbaatar. In the afternoon, enjoy last-minute shopping in the city. Conclude the day with dinner at a local restaurant and overnight stay in Ulaanbaatar.
