Perched on a hill overlooking the Khalkh Gol, Ikh Burhant is a breathtaking 40-meter-long Buddhist statue of Janraisag, carved directly into a massive stone block. This monumental sculpture, unique in Mongolia, evokes the grandeur of similar statues found in Afghanistan, Xinjiang, and India.

Commissioned in 1864 by the forward-thinking prince Togtokhtooriin, who was known for his patronage of the arts and local development, Ikh Burhant stands as a testament to his vision. After undergoing extensive renovations in the mid-1990s, the statue was revealed with great celebration in 1997.
