Your adventure begins in the vast steppes of Central Mongolia, where you’ll ride through open grasslands, visit ancient monasteries, and sleep under the stars in traditional ger camps. As you head north, the scenery shifts to dramatic mountains and deep forests of the Taiga, home to the Tsaatan people. Here, you’ll experience their rare lifestyle, ride hardy mountain horses, and learn about reindeer herding
and shamanic traditions.

ITINERARY

Upon arrival at Chinggis Khaan International Airport or the railway station, you will be
met by your tour guide who will assist with your transfer to the hotel. After settling in,
enjoy a delicious welcome dinner at a local restaurant, offering a taste of Mongolia’s rich
cuisine. Overnight at the hotel.

After an early breakfast, set out for a perfect escape just beyond Ulaanbaatar, where Mongolia’s rich heritage blends with stunning natural landscapes. Your journey begins at the colossal Chinggis Khaan Equestrian Statue, rising 40 meters high. From its viewing platform, take in sweeping views of the surrounding steppe and explore the museum complex to learn more about the enduring legacy of Mongolia’s greatest leader. Continue to Terelj National Park, famed for its striking granite cliffs, rolling meadows, and alpine forests. Discover landmarks such as Turtle Rock and the serene Aryabal Meditation Temple, offering panoramic views of the park. For an authentic cultural encounter, visit a local herder family to experience the warmth of traditional nomadic hospitality. In the evening, settle into a traditional ger camp, surrounded by the tranquility of the Mongolian countryside.

Today, we drive to Elsen Tasarkhai, a unique landscape in central Mongolia where the vast steppe meets the sand dunes of the desert. Often referred to as the ‘mini-Gobi’, this area offers a stunning blend of desert scenery, rolling hills, and expansive grasslands. During your visit, you can enjoy activities such as: Camel riding across the sandy dunes Hiking through the striking desert terrain Exploring the nomadic lifestyle of local families, gaining insight into their traditions and daily life After an adventurous day, spend the night in a ger camp, where you can relax and enjoy the serene beauty of the Mongolian wilderness.

After breakfast, we head to Karakorum, the ancient capital of the Mongol Empire. This historic site is rich in culture and heritage, offering a deep dive into Mongolia’s fascinating past. During your visit, you’ll explore:The ancient ruins of Karakorum, which once stood as the thriving heart of the empire. The Erdene Zuu Monastery, a stunning Buddhist site that is one of Mongolia’s oldest and most revered monasteries.  The Karakorum Museum, which houses artifacts and exhibits detailing the history of the Mongol Empire and the region’s spiritual traditions. Surrounded by picturesque landscapes, Karakorum offers a captivating glimpse into Mongolia’s powerful past and spiritual heritage. After a day of exploration, you’ll return to your deluxe ger camp for an unforgettable night under the stars.

After breakfast, depart for Khustai National Park. This beautiful park is known for its unique combination of Mongolian wildlife and rugged natural landscapes. Here’s what you’ll experience: Rare Takhi (Przewalski’s horse): The park is home to these wild horses, which were once extinct in the wild. It’s one of the best places to observe them roaming freely in their natural habitat. Scenic Landscapes: Enjoy the rolling hills and vast steppe of the park, which offer a peaceful escape into nature Conservation Efforts: Learn about the park’s conservation initiatives, focusing on the protection of the Takhi and other native species.
Khustai National Park is a perfect combination of nature, history, and wildlife and provides a tranquil retreat into the Mongolian steppe. After a day of exploration, spend the night at a ger camp, experiencing traditional Mongolian hospitality and the beauty of the countryside.

After breakfast at the ger camp, you will check out and depart for the Mongol Nomadic camp. Morning Activities at Mongol Nomadic Camp: Cultural Performance (10:00 AM – 12:00 PM): Experience a live cultural performance that beautifully highlights the traditional Mongolian nomadic lifestyle. This performance includes demonstrations of herding practices, ger building, and traditional Mongolian arts, giving you a true feel for the country’s rich cultural heritage. Lunch in a Ger: After the performance, enjoy a traditional Mongolian lunch served in a cozy ger, providing a warm and immersive experience. Afternoon: Transfer to the Airport: After lunch, you’ll be transferred to the airport for your domestic flight to Moron. Flight details: Departure at 18:30, arriving at 19:45 in Murun. Upon arrival in Murun, meet your local driver and transfer to a nearby hotel for an overnight stay. Evening: Dinner & Rest: After a long journey, enjoy a relaxing dinner at your hotel and unwind for the night. Overnight at the hotel in Moron.

Embark on a scenic journey from Moron to Tsagaan Nuur Soum, a remote destination in northern Mongolia, known for its rugged terrain, dense forests, and stunning landscapes. Along the way, enjoy the breathtaking beauty of the Darkhad Valley, surrounded by majestic mountains and tranquil nature. Highlights of the Day: Route Overview: The journey takes you through varied landscapes, from dense forests to wide-open spaces. As you make your way through the Darkhad Valley, you’ll be treated to sweeping views of towering peaks and pristine rivers. Stop at Ulaan Uul Soum: Enjoy a relaxing local lunch at Ulaan Uul Soum, a peaceful location offering an opportunity to take a break and soak in the surroundings. Arrival at Tsagaan Nuur Soum: Continuing your journey, you’ll reach Tsagaan Nuur Soum, a gateway to the Taiga region and home to the Dukha reindeer herders. This remote area offers an authentic look at Mongolia’s northern wilderness and the traditional lifestyle of the Dukha people, who have lived in harmony with the land for generations. Local Dinner and Overnight Stay: Upon arrival, enjoy a traditional local dinner and spend the night at a guest house in Tsagaan Nuur Soum, where you’ll have a comfortable base to rest after a day of exploration.

After breakfast at the guest house, check out and prepare for an unforgettable horseback journey into the Taiga. The day’s adventure begins with a 32 km drive to the edge of the forest, where you’ll mount your horse and embark on a half-day ride into the heart of this remote wilderness. After a peaceful night in the teepees, you’ll spend the morning fully immersed in the traditional life of the Tsaatan reindeer herders. You will ride back to Tsagaan Nuur Soum, where you will meet your driver. In the afternoon, reflect on your unique experience and enjoy a peaceful evening at the guest house in Tsagaan Nuur Soum. Overnight at the same guest house. Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner are included.

After a peaceful night in the teepees, you’ll spend the morning fully immersed in the traditional life of the Tsaatan reindeer herders. You will ride back to Tsagaan Nuur Soum, where you will meet your driver. In the afternoon, reflect on your unique experience and enjoy a peaceful evening at the guest house in Tsagaan Nuur Soum. Overnight at the same guest house. Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner are included.

Enjoy a leisurely morning hike along the scenic shores of Khuvsgul Lake. Your guide will lead you through the tranquil landscapes, offering insights into the local flora and fauna. The area’s stunning natural beauty is perfect for peaceful reflection and photography. After your hike, enjoy a meal with fresh local ingredients while overlooking the serene lake. Check out of the camp and begin your journey back to Moron town. Upon arrival in Murun, you’ll have time to explore the local market and visit the town’s main square, where you can experience the local life in this remote northern region of Mongolia. It’s a great opportunity to shop for unique souvenirs or simply enjoy the local atmosphere. Enjoy a hearty dinner at a local restaurant, preparing for your flight back to Ulaanbaatar. In the evening, take a domestic flight from Moron to Ulaanbaatar, scheduled between 20:25-21:30. Enjoy the flight as you reflect on your amazing adventure. Upon arrival at Ulaanbaatar, you’ll be transferred to a ger camp located just 10 km from the airport.

After breakfast, you will check out of the hotel and transfer to the airport for your
international departure. As you leave Mongolia, take with you the unforgettable
