ITINERARY
You will meet our welcoming travel group in the arrival hall of Chinggis Khaan International Airport and take you to the Ulaanbaatar city. Once we arrive in the city, check in the hotel starting from 2:00 pm and have a free time until dinner. Have a welcome lunch or dinner depending on arrival time. Overnight in the hotel.

After breakfast, journey west into Central Mongolia, passing through steppe and mountain landscapes. Arrive at Elsen Tasarkhai, often called the “Mini Gobi,” a unique area where sand dunes, grassland, and rocky hills come together in one picturesque setting. Visit a local nomadic family to experience traditional herding life, and enjoy optional activities such as camel riding across the dunes or hiking in the surrounding hills. Overnight stay in a ger camp, surrounded by the peaceful steppe.

This morning, drive to Karakorum, the 13th-century capital of the Mongol Empire. Visit the Erdene Zuu Monastery, Mongolia’s first Buddhist monastery, and explore its temples, stupas, and museum exhibits that reflect the rich history of the region. After lunch continue the journey to the tranquil Lake Ugii, a beautiful freshwater lake known for its birdlife and serene setting. Enjoy leisure time by the lakeshore, with opportunities for walking or simply relaxing. Overnight in a ger camp by the lake.

After breakfast, check out from your ger camp and continue your journey to Khustai National Park, a sanctuary of natural beauty and biodiversity. Here, you’ll have the rare opportunity to witness the endangered Takhi (Przewalski’s horse) roaming freely in its native habitat. The park’s rolling hills, vast steppe landscapes, and diverse wildlife offer an unforgettable introduction to Mongolia’s wilderness. You’ll also gain insight into the park’s vital conservation efforts and its role in preserving these iconic wild horses. End the day with a unique overnight stay at a traditional ger camp, where you’ll experience authentic nomadic life under the stars—a tranquil and immersive blend of nature, history, and culture.

After breakfast, drive east of Ulaanbaatar to visit the iconic Chinggis Khaan Equestrian Statue, the world’s tallest horseman statue. Explore the exhibition halls, take in panoramic views from the monument’s viewing platform, and enjoy lunch at a nearby camp. Continue to Terelj National Park, famous for its dramatic rock formations, lush valleys, and nomadic culture. Visit the Turtle Rock and a local nomadic family, and enjoy optional activities such as horseback riding or hiking in the scenic surroundings. Overnight in a ger camp within the park.

After breakfast, enjoy a final morning at leisure in Ulaanbaatar. Transfer to the airport for your onward flight, concluding your journey with cherished memories of Mongolia’s culture, landscapes, and nomadic traditions.
